Eligibility

Nationality: Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply for LPUNEST-2015 (for Engineering Applicants).

Qualifying Examination: Applicants appearing for LPUNEST-2015 should have either completed or shall be appearing in 2015, in final examination of 10+2 from Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE, New Delhi) or The Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (ICSE, New Delhi) or State Board or any other Council, Institution, college etc. declared recognised by Council of Boards of School Education (COBSE), New Delhi or any other concerned apex body as applicable.

Eligibility Criteria in the Qualifying Examination:

B.Tech, B.Tech – M.Tech, B.Tech – MBA, B.Tech (with International Exposure) and B.Tech (with Twinning Arrangement), applicant should

  1. a) Score 70% aggregate marks in 10+2 or equivalent (with Physics, Mathematics and English)* or
  2. b) Score 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 or equivalent (with Physics, Mathematics and English)* subject to valid score in LPUNEST–2015, JEE (Main), State Level Entrance Test.

How to Apply:

Option-I: After Purchasing LPUNEST-2015 KIT

Applicant may obtain LPUNEST-2015 Kit from University Campus, Camp Offices, Designated branches of specific Banks/ Post Offices or any other prescribed place by paying cash or providing Demand Draft drawn in favour of “Lovely Professional University” payable at Jalandhar.

Once the applicant has obtained the LPUNEST-2015 kit, form can be submitted by one of the following methods.

Online Application with DD: Apply through University website (No Internet banking facility required).

  1. a) Fill the application form at website
    b) Take a printout (Laser or inkjet only) of the completed application on a good quality A4 size paper
    c) Enclose a demand draft for Rs. 500/- drawn in favour of “Lovely Professional University” payable at Jalandhar
    d)

ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS:

The applicants must fall into one) of the following categories: – (1) Wards of serving Army. Personnel with minimum 10 years continuous service in the Army. (2) Wards of ex Army personnel   granted/ awarded regular pension, liberalized family pension, family pension or r- disability pension at the time of their superannuation, demise, discharge, release medical board/ invalided medical board. : This includes wards of recruits medically boarded out and granted disability pension. (3) Wards of ex Army personnel who have taken discharge/release after ten years of service. (4) Adopted /Step Children and Children of Remarried widows, (i) Adopted Child of Army personnel who completed. 10 years service, adopted at least five years prior to seeking ‘ admission, (ii) Step Children are eligible provided they are born out of a wedding where at least one parent belonged to f the Army and completed 10 years service, (iii) Children of Widows of Army personnel who are born as a result of second F marriage with Army personnel. However, children of widows! of Army personnel born out of remarriage with Non-Army personnel would not be eligible for admission. (5) Eligibility [Criteria in Special Cases, Eligibility Criteria for Wards of Ex Army Medical Corps Officers/Army Dental Corps: Officers Presently Serving with IN/IAF. Wards of only I those ex Army medical officers /Army Dental Corps officers presently serving with Indian Navy or Indian Air Force who i have served with the Army for 10 years. (6) Eligibility. The salient features of The Orissa Professional Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission and Fixation of Fee) Act, 2007 are as follows.

* Methods of admission in technical and professional educational institutions: Subject to provisions of this Act, admission of students in all the technical and private professional educational institutions, Government institutions and sponsored institutions to all seats including lateral entry seats, shall be made through JEE conducted by the Policy Planning Body followed by counseling order of merit, in accordance with such procedure as recommended by the said body and approved by the Government of Odisha in consonance with the provisions of OPEI(RA&FF) Act 2007.

* Prohibition of Capitation fee: No capitation fee shall be collected by a professional educational institution, sponsored institution or by any person who is in charge of the management of such institution, from any candidate in consideration of his admission to or continuance in any course of study or his promotion to higher class, in such institution under the management. Where the Policy Planning Body on receipt of any complaint or is otherwise satisfied that the management of such institution or any person who is in charge of the management of such institution has contravened the provisions of the previous section / para, the Body may, after making due enquiry in the manner prescribed, recommend to the Government for imposition of fine not exceeding Rupees Ten Lakhs against the management of such institution for such contravention.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Candidates must have passed a Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree of examination in the relevant field from any University of Odisha or equivalent recognized University as defined by UGC/AICTE.

Paper Pattern: Questions will be in the branch/ discipline opted for.

OJEE PG 2015 Admit Card – Candidates who will appear for the Odisha JEE PG 2015 must download the Admit Card. The Download of OJEE PG 2015 Admit Card will be available from April 20, 2015 onwards. Candidates must remember that the Admit Card for Odisha JEE PG 2015 will not be dispatched by any.

Counseling Process: 

After deduction of the 5% of the seats for NRI quota, the rest of the seats will be allotted as – 50% for GATE qualified candidates and 50% for OJEE PG qualified candidates

Online registration and choice filling will be held in Mid June – June end, 2015

Candidates will have to report to nodal centre and get their documents verified

The original certificates and mark sheets along with photocopies of certificates, mark sheets and other related documents in two sets as per eligibility of the candidate must be produced during document verification

After Document verification, Seat Allotment will be done and allotted Candidates have to pay Rs.16,000 (Govt. Institution) or Rs.30,000 (Private Institution) through a separate A/c Payee Bank Draft drawn in favour of “OJEE-2015” on any Nationalised Bank payable at Bhubaneswar.

The balance after deduction of the University fee of Rs.4,500 (as per section 1.8.2) shall be paid to the admitting college for adjustment against the tuition and other fees payable to the college

Note: The fee of Rs.16,000 or Rs, 30,000 will be forfeited if the candidate  later decides not to join the college / course in the allotted college

The OJEE PG 2015 schedule of counselling and venue will be notified through the website as well as through the rank card.

Admission is strictly based on OJEE PG 2015 merit rank and choice of the candidate given during the counselling.

Candidates who are appearing in the 12th class under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination can also apply for this examination

Those candidates who have yet to qualify in the 12th class or equivalent examination and are allowed to appear in the UPSC examination should note that this is only a special concession given to them

They are required to submit proof of passing the 12th class or equivalent examination

How to Apply:

APPLICATION FEE: Candidates (excepting female SC/ST/PH candidates/ Sons of JCOs/NCOs/ORs specified in Note 2 in the notification who are exempted from payment of fee) are required to pay a fee of Rs. 100/- (Rupees one hundred only) either by depositing the money in any Branch of SBI by cash, or by using net banking facility of State Bank of India/ State Bank of Bikaner and Jaipur/ Sate Bank of Hyderabad/State Bank of Mysore/State Bank of Patiala /State Bank of Travancore or by using Visa/Master Credit/Debit Card

Applicants who opt for “Pay by Cash” mode, should print the system generated Pay-in-slip during Part- II registration and deposit the fee at the counter of SBI Branch on the next working day only. “Pay by Cash” mode option will be deactived at 23.59 hours of 22nd January 2015 i.e. one day before the closing date; however, applicants who have generated their Pay-in-slip before it is de-activated may pay at the counter of SBI Branch during banking hours on the closing date

Such applicants who are unable to pay by cash on the closing date i.e. during banking hours at SBI Branch, for reason whatsoever, even if holding a valid Pay-in-Slip, will have no other offline option but to opt for online Debit/Credit Card or Internet Banking Payment mode on the closing date i.e. till 23.59 hours of 23rd January 2015

For the applicants in whose case payments details have not been received from the bank they will be treated as fictitious payment cases and a list of all such applicants shall be made available on the commission website within two weeks after the last day of submission of online application

The applicants shall be required to submit the proof of their fee payment within 10 days from the date of such communication either by hand or by speed post to the commission

On receipt of documentary proof, genuine fee payment cases will be considered and their applications will be revived, if they are otherwise eligible

  2. In the question papers, wherever necessary, questions involving the metric system of Weights and Measures only will be set.
  3. Candidates must write the papers in their own hand. In no circumstances will they be allowed the help of a scribe to write answers for them.
  4. The Commission have discretion to fix qualifying marks in any or all the subjects at the examination.
  5. The candidates are not permitted to use calculator or Mathematical or logirithmic table for answering objective type papers (Test Booklets). They should not therefore, bring the same inside the Examination Hall.

The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) provides the students the ease of filling up a single application form to get admission to any of the 16 participating law institutes’ under-graduate and post-graduate degree programmes (LL.B & LL.M). Educational Qualification for UG Programme: A candidate should have obtained Higher Secondary School/ Intermediate (10+2) or its equivalent certificate from a recognized Board with not less than 45% marks in aggregate (40% in case of SC/ST candidates), as prescribed by the respective Statutes of the participating Universities Age for UG Programme: A candidate should be below 20 years of age as on 01st July 2015 (22 years in case of SC/ST and Persons with Disability candidates, as prescribed by the respective Statutes of the participating Universities

Age for PG Programme: The participating Universities have not prescribed any upper age limit for PG Programmes

The CLAT-2015 Question Paper for UG courses shall multiple choice type questions as per the following scheme Maximum Marks: 200 Duration of CLAT-2015: 02:00 Hours Total Number of Questions: 200 Negative Marking: 0.25 Mark/wrong answer

The CLAT-2015 Question Paper for PG courses shall have the following pattern: Maximum Marks: 150 Duration of CLAT-2015: 02:00 Hours Long Essay Type Descriptive Questions: 100 Mark Multiple-Choice Questions: 50 Marks (50 questions of 1 mark each) Negative Marking: 0.25 Mark/wrong answer to MCQ The long essay type contains 4 questions and 25 marks each pertaining to subject areas such as constitutional Law and Jurisprudence The Multiple-Choice Questions covers all subjects except Constitutional Law and Jurisprudence prescribed by BCI for Under-Graduate Courses

Application Fee

The candidates has to pay the application fee for general OBC/PWD and other category candidates Rs. 4000/- while submitting the Application Form of CLAT-2015 The fee is Rs. 3500/- in case of the SC/ST category candidates

The candidates will have to bear the bank transaction costs for remitting the fee online while submitting the application form

The above application fee includes cost of online application form and e-brochure Previous year e-Question Papers of CLAT shall be available on the payment of Rs. 250/- only; for this the mode of payment is Online only.

Mode of Application

There is only one mode of application i.e. online which can be accessed by a candidate after registering himself/herself on the CLAT website by creating a login account

The Online Application Form can be submitted only between 01st January 2015 to 31st March 2015 (11.59 PM)

The submitted Online Application Form in PDF format and other details will be available and accessible in the Login Account of the candidate; no copies of the filled in Online Application Form or uploaded certificates/documents need to be sent to the CLAT Office separately

The Hall-Ticket/Admit Card may be accessed / downloaded by the candidate in the personal LOGIN ACCOUNT; the candidate is required to take the printout of the Admit Card to the Exam Hall

Incomplete application or application in any mode other than online or application after the last date and time shall not be considered.
