West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE)-2013

Board will conduct the common entrance examination along with counselling for admission to undergraduate courses in Engineering and Technology, Pharmacy and Architecture in universities, Govt colleges and self financed Institutes in the state for the academic session 2013-14

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification: Candidates applying for WBJEE-2013 must have the following minimum academic qualifications

Candidates who are appearing for the higher secondary examination (10+2 level) or its equivalent examination in 2013 but standing to pass the same with these minimum qualification will become eligible after declaration of result of WBJEE-2013

Important Dates

Date of receipt of single envelope containing (filled in confirmation page along with top sheet by the board): 11th January, 2013 to 28th February, 2013

Dispatch of printed admit card by post: 01st April, 2013 to 10th April, 2013

Date of examination: 21st April, 2013

Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) 2013 – 2014


Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) 2013-14 (First Test)

AICTE has launched the National level Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) for facilitating institutions to select suitable students for admission in all management programmes approved by AICTE since 2012-13.
AICTE has now decided to conduct CMAT twice a year.
The notification is issued to announce the schedule for conducting first Test of Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) for admission to academic year 2013-14.
The students will be eligible to appear in both the exam and best of the two scores will be used for admission to 2013-14.

Eligibility
The candidates who have graduated from a recognized University in any discipline or Final Year students can also apply.
Admission Process
The detailed merit list will be provided to the respective State Governments for allotting the students through central counseling In case there is no central counseling Scores awarded will be used for admission in the AICTE approved Institutes or University Departments.

How to Apply:
Registration Process
The registration fee for CMAT exam is Rs. 1200 for the General and OBC category candidates and Rs. 600 for the SC/ST/PD candidates along with the Bank charges.
The candidates have to give three cities in order of preference. According to AICTE, “Allotment will be based on first come first served. Actual allotment however will be subject to availability of the slots in a particular city.”

Important Dates
The Registration window opens on Friday, August 3, 2012.
The last date for Online Registration is Sunday, September 2, 2012.
The print of the Hall Tickets would be available from Saturday, September 15, 2012.
The computer based CMAT exam will be held on Thursday, September 27, 2012 to Monday, October 1, 2012.
The result will be declared on Wednesday, October 17, 2012.
The Score Cards can be printed from Wednesday, October 17, 2012 to Saturday, November 17, 2012.
