MGM-SSET is conducted for taking to admission to Master of Chirurgical (M.Ch) and Doctor of Medicine (DM) programs for the session 2015.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • The candidate must be an Indian national.
  • The candidate must possess recognized post graduate degree MD/MS (or its equivalent) from a medical college recognized by MCI.

Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) September, 2015

The Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi will be conducting the 8th Edition of Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) on 20.09.2015 (Sunday) for a candidate to be eligible for appointment as a teacher for classes I to VIII. Candidates can apply only on-line for CTET-SEPT 2015 on CBSE, CTET website

Eligibility

  1. The candidates having the following minimum educational qualification are eligible for appearing in CTET.

Minimum Educational Qualifications for becoming Teacher for Classes I-V (Primary Stage):

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)

OR

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002.

OR

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).

OR

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education)*.

OR

Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of two year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).

  1. Minimum Qualifications for becoming Teacher for Classes VI-VIII: Elementary Stage

Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).

Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).

Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1- year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.

  2. Relaxation up to 5% in the qualifying marks in the minimum Educational Qualification for eligibility shall be allowed to the candidates belonging to reserved categories, such as SC, ST, OBC, Differently abled.
  3. Diploma, Degree Course in Teacher Education: For the purposes of this Notification, a diploma, degree course in teacher education recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) only shall be considered. However, in case of Diploma in Education (Special Education) and B.ED (Special Education), a course recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) only shall be considered.
  • Training to be undergone: A person with D.Ed (Special Education) qualification shall undergo, after appointment an NCTE recognized 6-month Special Programme in Elementary Education.
  1. The minimum qualifications referred above apply to teachers of Languages, Social Studies, Social Science, Mathematics, Science etc. In respect of teachers for Physical Education, the minimum qualification norms for Physical Education teachers referred to in NCTE Regulation, dated 3rd November, 2001 (as amended from time to time) shall be applicable. For teachers of Art Education, Craft Education, Home Science, Work Education, etc. the existing eligibility norms prescribed by the State Governments and other school managements shall be applicable till such time the NCTE lays down the minimum qualifications in respect of such teachers.
  2. Candidates who are appearing in the final year of Bachelor Degree in Education or Diploma in Elementary Education etc. are provisionally admitted and their CTET Certificate shall be valid only on passing the aforesaid Examinations.
  3. The candidate not having any of the above qualification shall not be eligible for appearing in Central Teacher Eligibility Test.

Candidates are required to take a print out of the computer generated Confirmation Page with Registration Number after successful submission of data.

  1. Application Procedure: 4 Simple Steps to be followed to apply online

Step 1: Fill in the Online Application Form and note down system generated Registration No. The candidate should supply all details while filling the Online Form. The Application Form mainly contains the personal details and contact details of the candidates. After successful submission of the data, Registration No. will be generated and it will be used to complete the remaining Steps of the Application Form and also required for all future correspondence.

Step 2: Upload Scanned Images of Photograph and Signature

The scanned images of photographs and signature should be in jpg format.

Size of the photo image must be greater than 4 kb and less than 100 kb.

Size of the signature image must be greater than 1 kb and less than 25 kb.

Step 3: Pay Examination Fee by challan or debit, credit card: 

For Payment by Syndicate Bank, Canara Bank challan: The candidate has to select “Bank e-Challan” (Syndicate, Canara Bank) to submit the application fee through bank. As soon as he, she selects, an e-Challan will be generated containing details of the candidate along with amount to be paid as per their category and paper(s) opted. The candidate has to take a printout of the same and take it to the nearest Core Banking Service (CBS) facility enabled Branch of the respective Bank for making payment. After payment, the candidate has to login again to the system and enter the details written on the e-Challan by the bank official like Transaction ID, Branch Code, Branch Name and date of fee deposit. After the details are uploaded, a Confirmation Page will be generated. OR Candidate can also pay fee by Debit, Credit Card of any bank.

Step 4: Download Confirmation Page for your record and future reference, if required.

Note: Candidates are NOT REQUIRED to send hard copy of confirmation page to CTET unit. However, the candidates are advised to retain the hard copy of the application i.e. confirmation page, challan if fees is paid by challan, for future reference.

ELIGIBILITY:

A candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA [45% in case of the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Differently Abled (DA) (It may also be referred to as Persons With Disability (PWD) categories), awarded by any of the universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a university under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. The percentage of marks obtained by a candidate in the bachelor’s degree would be calculated based on the practice followed by the university, institution from where the candidate has obtained the degree. In case a candidate is awarded grades, CGPA instead of marks, the conversion of grades, CGPA to percentage of marks would be based on the procedure certified by the university, institution from where he, she has obtained the bachelor’s degree. In case the university, institution does not have any scheme for converting CGPA into equivalent marks, the equivalence would be established by dividing the candidate’s CGPA by the maximum possible CGPA and multiplying the result with 100. Candidates appearing for the final year of bachelor’s degree, equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed degree requirements and are awaiting results can also apply. If selected, such candidates will be allowed to join the programme provisionally, only if he, she submits a certificate latest by June 30, 2016 from the Principal, Registrar of his, her College, Institute (issued on or before June 30, 2016) stating that the candidate has completed all the requirements for obtaining the bachelor’s degree, equivalent qualification on the date of the issue of the certificate. IIMs may verify eligibility at various stages of the selection process, the details of which are provided at the website. Applicants should note that the mere fulfillment of minimum eligibility criteria will not ensure consideration for short listing by IIMs.

Prospective candidates must maintain a valid and unique email account and a phone number throughout the selection process.

RESERVATIONS:

As per Government of India requirements, 15% of the seats are reserved for SC and 7.5% for ST candidates. For Other Backward Classes candidates belonging to the “non-creamy” layer (NC-OBC) 27% of the seats are reserved.

For an updated central list of state-wise OBCs eligible for availing the benefit of reservation and information in respect of the creamy layer visit the website. In case of NC-OBC category, the castes included in Central List (available at Website) of NC-OBC by the National Commission of Backward Classes, Government of India as on the last day of registration will be used. Any subsequent changes will not be effective for CAT 2015. As per the provision under section 39 of the PWD Act, 1995, 3% of the seats are reserved for Person with Disability (PWD), Differently Abled (DA) candidates. The three categories of disability are: a) low-vision, blindness, b) hearing impairment, and c) locomotor disability, cerebral palsy. This provision is applicable if a candidate suffers from any of the listed disabilities to the extent of not less than 40%, as certified by a medical authority as prescribed and explained in the said Act.

The candidates belonging to categories for which seats are reserved need to note and read the eligibility requirements carefully before applying. It should be noted that while it is the endeavor of IIMs that the candidates belonging to SC, ST, PWD. (DA), Non-Creamy OBC categories join the programme in proportions mandated by the law, they have to meet the minimum eligibility criteria and a certain minimum level of performance in the admission process. The candidates should read carefully the description of admission process followed by each IIM on their respective websites. No change in the category will be entertained after registration; hence, the applicants are advised to pay attention while registering.

HOW TO APPLY:

 

PAYMENT OF REGISTRATION FEES:

The registration fee is Rs. 1600/- for General and NC-OBC candidates and Rs. 800/- for SC, ST, PWD (DA) candidates, which is to be paid online at the time of registration. The details will be available on Website.

Please note that a candidate needs to pay registration fee only once irrespective of the number of institutes he, she is applying for. NC-OBC, SC, ST and PWD (DA) candidates must upload a copy of their NCOBC, SC, ST, PWD (DA) certificates at the time of registration. Fees once paid cannot be refunded under any circumstances.

 

REGISTRATION:

The registration window opens on 6th August, 2015 and will close on 20th September, 2015. The details about the registration process will be available on CAT 2015 website.

At the time of registration, a candidate has to select three test cities as per her, his preference from the drop down menu. A candidate will be allotted a test site in one among the three of her, his preferred test cities in any one of the four sessions after the last date of registration. The candidates can download their admit cards from 15th Oct, 2015 till their exam date.

TEST CITIES:

There are 99 test cities. The details about the test sites spread across 99 test cities will be available on Website from 16th Oct, 2015 and the name of the test site will be indicated in her, his Admit Card. IIMs reserve the right to change or cancel any test site and,or change the test window time and dates at their own discretion.

CAT 2015 SCORES:

A candidate’s CAT 2015 score card will be made available at the website and individual information will not be sent The CAT results will be declared during 2nd week of January 2016. CAT 2015 score will remain valid till December 31, 2016. The CAT 2015 candidates’ scores will be made available till December 31, 2016. Subsequent to that date no queries related to issuance of CAT 2015 score cards will be entertained.

ADMISSION PROCESS:

Please note that each IIM shortlists candidates for the second stage of selection which may be independent of each other. The process may include Written Ability Test (WAT), Group Discussions (GD) and Personal Interviews (PI). Performance in CAT 2015 examination is an important component in the admission process. IIMs may use previous academic performance of the candidates, relevant work experience and other similar inputs in short listing and ranking of the candidates at various stages of the admission process. Academic Qualifications:

Candidate seeking admission to the Course should be a Graduate in any faculty of any University in Kerala or of any other Universities recognised by any of the Universities in Kerala as equivalent there to

He, she should have passed the Bachelor’s Degree Examination with a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate (i.e., 45% marks for all the parts of the Degree Examination taken together). However, candidates belonging to SC, ST category need only 40% marks in the qualifying examination

For General and SEBC candidates, the application fee is Rs. 600/- (Rupees Six Hundred Only) and for SC, ST Candidates, the application fee is Rs. 300/- (Rupees Three Hundred only)

The required fee can be remitted at any branch of the State Bank of Travancore using the Bank Chalan, which is available along with the print out of online application

Last date and time for receipt of printout of application: Candidates should take printout of the online submitted application and affix a recent passport size photograph identical to the one uploaded, and get it attested by a Gazetted Officer. This application along with the required documents should be forwarded to the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Housing Board Buildings, 5th Floor, Santhinagar, Thiruvananthapuram-695001 in A4 size envelope, either by registered post, speed post, hand delivery so as to reach the office before 05.00 pm on 23rd July 2015

Government of Telangana State has given permission to the DSE Telangana to conduct the TS DEECET 2015 for the academic year 2015-16

As per GO. 14, the School Education Department has issued the Telangana DEECET 2015 on 01st July 2015 and DSE Telangana invites the online applications from 08th July to 21st July 2015 from the eligible candidates for admission into 2 year D.Ed Courses in District Institute of Education and Training (DIET) and Private D.Ed Colleges through Common Entrance Test (DEECET) 2015

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidate should be of Indian Nationality

The candidate should satisfy Local, Non-Local Status requirements as laid down in the A.P. Educational Institutions (Regulation of admission) Order 1974 as subsequently amended

Candidate should have obtained a rank in DEECET 2015 and should satisfy the eligibility criteria prescribed

The candidates should have completed 17 years as on 1st September 2015. There is no upper age limit

Educational Qualifications:

The candidates who passed or appeared for the 10+2 (2014-15) final Examinations (qualifying examination) or its equivalent are eligible to appear for the entrance test; but they should have passed the qualifying examination by the time of admission

The candidate should have secured 50% of marks in aggregate in qualifying exam; the minimum percentage of marks in the case of SC, ST and Physically Challenged (PH) candidates shall however be 45%

Note: The candidates who passed Intermediate examination with vocational course(s) are not eligible

Qualifying marks in DEECET 2015, DIETCET 2015:

Candidates belonging to “OC” and “BC” communities shall secure at least 35 percent marks in DEECET 2015. However, there shall be no minimum qualifying marks in respect of SC, ST candidates

Exam Centers for DEECET 2015:

Telangana DEECET 2015 shall be conducted in all the 10 Districts of Head quarters in Telangana state. Candidate can choose any District of his choice for examination center. However, when the capacity of any particular District gets exhausted that particular District will not be displayed in the list of examination centers given in the online application form

In such case, the candidate has to choose another District of his, her choice from the remaining list available for examination centre

Application Fee: The fee prescribed for appearing for DEECET (including examination fee) is Rs. 200/- (Rupees Two hundred only)
