SAAT – 2015, Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan University Admission Test – 2015


Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan University Admission Test (SAAT-2015), a national level entrance test is conducted by Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan Universityevery year to select bright students from different parts of our country. The test is being conducted for different programs offered in different constituent institutes / schools of the university. SAAT-2015, the seventh edition of this entrance test, will be held on 09th May 2015 (Saturday) at 65 centers across 46 cities of India. The test is primarily a multiple choice type written test and the standard of the test is comparable with any other national level entrance test. Short listed candidates will be called to attend an open counselling for admission into various programmes of the university. Another feature of this entrance test is that the candidates with diploma in engineering/ technology/ pharmacy and hotel management are eligible for admission into regular courses under lateral entry scheme through SAAT-2015.

Lateral Entry Programmes:

Under Lateral Entry (LE) scheme 20% of intake capacity of previous year in appropriate discipline and carry forward vacant seats of 1st year of Engineering / Pharmacy / Hotel Management / Nursing / MCA will be filled up at the 2nd year level. These seats will be considered over and above the intake capacity. (Refer – Appendix-XVIII)

Eligibility:

Eligibility Criteria

For Bachelor Degree Programmes:

  1. a) BTech / Dual Degree in Engineering / Dual Degree in Management:Pass or appearing (in the year 2015) at 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects: Chemistry / Computer Science / Information Technology /Biotechnology / Biology / Informatics / Statistics or any other subject as approved by appropriate authority, by securing at least 50% marks taken together in the subjects mentioned.
    OR
    Pass in Diploma in Engineering / Technology with less than 60% marks in aggregate.
    b) MBBS / BDS:Pass or appearing at 10+2 examination (in the year 2015) or any equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany and Zoology) and English individually and must have secured a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology in the qualifying examination. In respect of the candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Schedules Tribes and Other backward Classes the marks secured in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together in qualifying examination can be 40% instead of 50% for General Candidates. For PH candidates qualifying examination marks is 45% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together. As per MCI & DCI guidelines candidates have to secure at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany and Zoology) taken together in the entrance test. For SC / ST / OBC candidates the limit is minimum of 40% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany and Zoology) taken together in the entrance test. For PH candidates the limit is minimum of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany and Zoology) taken together in the entrance test. All candidates must pass in English.

Age Limit: The lower age limit is 17 years and the upper age limit is 25 years as on 31.12.2015. Further provided that this upper age limit shall be relaxed by a period of  5 (five) years for the candidates of SC and ST.
c) BPharm: Pass or appearing at 10+2 examination (in the year 2015) with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects: Mathematics / Biotechnology / Computer Science / Biology / Information Technology or any other subject as approved by appropriate authority, by securing at least 45% marks taken together in the subjects mentioned (40% incase of candidates belonging to SC / ST / OBC category) OR Pass in Diploma programme in Pharmacy with less than 60% marks.

  1. d) BHMCT:Pass or appearing at 10+2 examination (2015) in any discipline with at least 45% marks (40% incase of SC / ST / OBC category)
    e) BSc in Nursing (Basic):Pass or appearing at 10+2 examination (in the year 2015) with at least 45% marks in aggregate (English, Physics, Chemistry & Biology taken together) and 40% marks in aggregate for SC / ST / OBC candidates only. Age Limit: The lower age limit is 17 years as on 31.12.2015.
  2. f)BSc in Nursing (Post Basic):Passed GNM examination, and registered with concerned State Nursing Council. Candidate must be a member of TNAI.
    g) Five years integrated BBA LLB Honours Programme: Pass or appearing (2015) the 10+2 or equivalent in any stream with at least 45% marks. Relaxable to 40% in case of SC/ST. Candidate should not have completed 20 years of age as on 1st August 2015.

For Master Degree Programmes:

  1. a) MTech:Pass or appearing in BE / BTech / AMIE / MCA / MSc in the respective discipline or equivalent. For MTech in Biotechnology, candidates having BTech / BE in Biotechnology or related fields / MSc in Physics, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Life Science or equivalent / MBBS / BPharm / BVSc with Biology as a subject at +2 level are eligible. Candidates having MCA and MSc (Maths) degree are eligible for MTech in Comp Sc & Data Processing. Candidates with MSc (Electronics) are eligible for MTech in Electronics & Communication Engineering and MTech in Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering. MSc in Computer Science and IT are eligible for MTech in Computer Science & Engineering and CS&IT respectively. A candidate with BTech (Environmental / Chemical / Civil / Mechanical / Metallurgy) or MSc (Environmental Science / Chemistry / Biotechnology / Geology / Life Science / Botany / Zoology) is eligible for MTech in Environmental Science & Technology. For MTech Material Science & Technology candidate must have MSc (Physics) / MSc (Chemistry) / BTech (Electronics & Communication Engg) / BTech (Electrical Engg) For admission to MTech, candidates have to pass the qualifying examination with at least 50% marks. GATE qualified candidates are exempted from the entrance test, but they have to submit the filled up form. Admission into MTech programmes will be done on the basis of performance in SAAT-2015 or valid GATE score and personal interview taken together. After the interview, the merit list prepared by the Board members will be final.
    b) MCA:Pass or appearing (in the year 2015) at three year Bachelor Degree in any discipline from any recognised University with at least 50% of marks (45% in case of candidates belonging to SC / ST / OBC Category) having Mathematics at 10+2 level or at +3 level. Candidates having Business mathematics at +2 or +3 level are not eligible.
    c) MBA / MHMCT/ MHA / MHTM: Pass or appearing (2015) three year Bachelor Degree in Science, Commerce and Arts / BE / BTech / MBBS / BPharm / BSc Agri /  BVSC / BHMS /BAMS / BDS / BPT / BHMCT / BBA / BCA examination or equivalent in 2015 from any recognised University with at least 50% marks (45% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC category). For MHMCT the candidate must have secured at least 50% marks (45% incase of candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC Category) in BHMCT. Candidate having a minimum composite score of 500 in GMAT/CAT/XAT/MAT/ATMA or any other equivalent test are exempted from appearing SAAT-2015. They are required only to submit the filled up application form. Admission will be done on the basis of performance in SAAT-2015 or MAT followed by group discussion and personal interview (GD/PI), all taken together.
    d) MPharm: Pass or appearing (2015) at BPharm examination from any recognized University with at least 50% marks. The candidates having valid GPAT score can apply. GPAT qualified candidates are exempted from the entrance test, but they have to submit the filled up form. Admission into MPharm programme will be done on the basis of performance in SAAT-2015 or valid GPAT and personal interview taken together and a final merit list will be prepared. e) MSc in Biotechnology Pass or appearing (2015) at three year Bachelor degree in Science OR four year Bachelor course in Agriculture / Pharmacy / Veterinary / Engineering / Technology / Medicine (MBBS/BDS) from any recongnised University with at least 50% marks (45% incase of candidates belonging to SC / ST / OBC category).
  2. f) MSc in Nursing:Passed BSc Nursing (Basic/Post Basic)Degree with 55% aggregate from an Institution recognized by Indian Nursing Council with a minimum of one year experience either in teaching or clinical area but they should be registered in State Nursing Council as a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife.
    g) LLM:Pass or appearing (2015) Bachelor Degree in Law or studied Integrated Law Course or equivalent thereof, from any recognized University, securing 50% Marks in aggregate.
    For Lateral Entry Programmes:
  3. a) Admission to 2nd year Degree Programme in Engineering, Pharmacy & Hotel Management for Diploma holders:Pass or appearing (in the year 2015) at three year diploma course in Engineering / Pharmacy and Hotel Management respectively with at least 60% marks in aggregate from State Council of Technical Education and Vocational Training (SCTE&VT), Odisha or equivalent. For Pharmacy, pass or appearing (in the year 2015) at two year diploma course in Pharmacy with minimum 60% marks in aggregate from State Board of Pharmacy (SBP) or SCTE&VT, Odisha, or equivalent.
  4. b) Lateral Entry MCA:Pass or appearing (in the year 2015) in three year Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA), BSc in Information Technology and BSc in Computer Science with at least 60% of marks in aggregate from any recognized University.
    c) Choice of Discipline:Candidates having Diploma in Engineering indicated under Column – I are eligible for admission into the corresponding discipline only mentioned under Column – II (Appendix – XVIII). Candidates will appear a common paper in the entrance test and the branch allotment will be done during the counselling as per Appendix-XVIII.

NOTE: Candidates appearing at the qualifying examination (in the year 2015) may also apply. But, they have to produce the pass certificate of the qualifying examination with pass mark in individual appropriate subjects as mentioned for different programmes on the day of counselling, failing which the rank / position secured in the entrance examination will stand cancelled automatically and they will have no claim for the admission as per the rank. The above mentioned clause is also applicable for pass out candidates. e.g.: For BTech the candidate has to secure pass mark in each of the following subjects – Physics, Mathematics and any one of the subject.

  • Application Form & Information Brochure of SAAT–2015 can be obtained in Person / by Post from the SOA University, Khandagiri Square,Bhubaneswar – 751030. Forms are also available at different counters of the constituent institutes of the university.
  • Application form & information brochure of SAAT–2015 can also be obtained from designated branches of Axis Bank, Syndicate Bank & Punjab National Bank (enlisted in Appendix-XIX).
  • Application form & information brochure of SAAT-2015 is available at website. The candidates have to fill up the details online, make payment by Debit Card/Credit Card Rs. 500/- (on account of examination fees), take print out of application form, affix a recent colour photograph and send it by Post/courier.

Instructions for SAAT-2015 Online Application Form

  1. Check that the online application form has been properly and completely filled up (For details regarding filling up the application form refer the SAAT 2015 information brochure).
    2.   Application process: Incomplete application will not be accepted. Please follow the below mentioned process below to complete your application process.
    Step1.Fill up the application form & Proceed to payment

Step2. Select the payment method – Demand Draft / Online payment (Debit / Credit Card of any bank is accepted)

Step3. The Demand Draft payment method selection will complete the application process. If you select online payment it will redirect to the Merchant gateway. You need to fill up your card information and pay for the same and ensure the amount displayed is Rs 500 /- . The payment gateway will authorize and capture the payment and redirect to our University website for confirmation of the Application process is complete. Do not close/ refresh / hit back button at the merchant gateway till the payment process is complete. (The system will record the whole application process. Do not close the window until you have completed step 1 to 3 or else the application process will be invalid.)

Step4. Download your Application Copy and take the print out of the application form. The link to download the application form will be send to your mail.

Step5. Fill up the Demand Draft details as specified in the application form. (Demand Draft of 500 /- in favor of “Siksha O AnusandhanUniversity”, Payable at Bhubaneswar).

Step6. Please retain a photocopy of filled up application form and the bank draft with you for future reference. On the back side of the Demand draft write your Application Number, Name & Course code.

NATIONAL LAW UNIVERSITY DELHI

The NATIONAL LAW UNIVERSITY, DELHI established in 2008 by Act No. 1 of 2008 is premier Law University established in the capital city of India. Eligibility:

B.A.. LL.B. (Hons.)- Five Years Programme

Eligibility: Senior Secondary School Examination (10+2 System) or Equivalent Examination with 50% of marks. The candidates appearing in the 12th standard examination in March, April, 2015 can also apply.

Age: Below 21 years as on 1 July, 2015 (23 years in case of SC/ST candidates).

Total Seats: 80 [70 seats on merit through All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) and 10 seats for direct admission to Foreign Nationals on merit]. Foreign Nationals to be eligible should have 65% marks in the qualifying examination.

South Asian University (SAU) is an international university established by the governments of the eight member nations of South Asian Association for Regional Co-operation (SAARC) viz. Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. SAU started its operations from the academic year 2010. The university, established with an aim to evolve a South Asian consciousness, now offers Master and M.Phil./Ph.D. level programmes in Development Economics, Computer Science, Biotechnology, Applied Mathematics, Sociology, International Relations and Law. SAU attracts students from all member nations and its degrees are recognized by all the eight SAARC countries.

Eligibility criteria for admission to Master level programmes:

  • For admission to the Master level programmes in SAU, a minimum of 15 years of education under 10+2+3 (i.e., 12 years schooling and 3 years Bachelor’s degree) pattern is essential. Applicants who have completed 4 years of Bachelor’s degree after 10+2 (12 years of schooling) are also eligible, though the Master-level programme will be of two years duration for them. Applicants who have obtained Bachelor’s degree in less than 15 years (e.g., under 10+2+2 pattern) will not be eligible for admission to SAU’s Master level programmes. However, students who have completed two years Bachelor degree and thereafter have also completed one year of M.A./M.Sc., can apply for admission to a Master level course at SAU subject to their fulfilling other prescribed eligibility conditions including percentage of marks which will be average of marks obtained in Bachelor degree and 1st year of M.A./M.Sc. course.
  • For admission to the LL.M. Programme  in SAU, a minimum of 17 years of education (12 years of schooling + 5 years Integrated B.A./LL.B. degree with prescribed percentage of 50% marks) is the minimum prescribed eligibility. Candidates who have completed 12 years of schooling + 3 year Bachelor’s degree + 3 years LL.B. degree or 12 years’ schooling and 4 years’ LL.B. degree with prescribed percentage of 50% marks are also eligible.
  • For admission to M.A. (Development Economics), M.A. (Sociology) and M.A. (International Relations) programmes of study, the minimum prescribed eligibility percentage in Bachelor’s degree is 50%. For LL.M., the minimum prescribed eligibility percentage in LL.B. degree is 50%.
  • For M.Sc. (Applied Mathematics), M.Sc. (Biotechnology) and M.Sc. (Computer Science) programmes of study, the minimum eligibility percentage in Bachelors degree is 55%.
  • Applicants who have not yet completed the Bachelor’s degree, but   are yet to appear for their last year / semester exam , may also apply for admission to Master degree programmes and appear in the entrance examination provisionally. If qualified in the admission test, their admission will be confirmed only if they fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria of aggregate percentage of marks in Bachelor’s degree. Please note such candidates are given a provisional chance in anticipation of their qualifying degree examination with prescribed percentage of marks/grades and they will not have any claim to admission.
  • No candidate shall be eligible for admission to a Master’s programme unless he/she has attained the age of 20 years for admission to the programme as on 1st October 2015. Provided that the age limit may be relaxed by the President on the recommendations of the Admission Committee on the merit of each case.
  • All students who are offered admission will be required to produce original copies of their final results including mark sheet/grade sheet of their qualifying degree examination at the time of admission.   • For M.Phil./Ph.D. (Legal Studies) those who have done LL.B. followed by a one-year LL.M. degree with the prescribed 50% marks are also eligible.
  • For admission to M.Phil./Ph.D. programmes in Economics, Sociology, International Relations, and Legal Studies, the minimum prescribed eligibility percentage in Master’s degree is 50%; and for M.Phil./Ph.D. programmes in Applied Mathematics, Biotechnology and Computer Science, the minimum prescribed eligibility percentage in Master’s degree is 55%.

How to Apply:

Application Fee

An Entrance Test will be conducted simultaneously throughout the SAARC Region on April 5, 2015. Application fee for appearing in the entrance test is US $10 or Indian Rupees 600/-. Applicants, who can pay the application fee by credit/debit cards or Net Banking have the option to apply online. For other applicants, there is an option to download the application form, fill it and mail it to SAU along with a bank-draft for US $10 or Indian Rupees 600/- drawn in favor of “South Asian University” payable at New Delhi.

Hostels and Medical Facilities

Hostel Facilities: Hostel accommodation (on sharing basis) is provided only to those students who come from outside National Capital Region (NCR). Hostel accommodation is NOT provided for spouse/children or other family members of the admitted students. All students staying in hostel will have to strictly adhere to hostel rules. Hostel Fee will be US $ 60 per academic semester for students from SAARC region. Staying in hostel will not be allowed after the completion of the course.

Mess charges will be extra and are likely to range between US$ 50 to 75 per month.

Medical Facilities: All admitted students are covered under Medical Group Insurance Scheme up to INR 1,50,000 for which full premiums are paid by the University. In addition, the University has its own Health Centre where limited OPD facilities are provided to all students. Expenses incurred by students on purchase of medicines (prescribed by the University doctors) are reimbursed to them as per SAU rules.

Eligibility Criteria

For admission to any of the above Integrated First Degree Programmes (except Dubai campus) the candidate should have passed the 12th class examination of 10+2 system from a recognized Central State board or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. For admission to B.Pharm, the eligibility criterion is Physics, Chemistry and Biology in 12th. However candidates with PCM may also apply for Pharmacy program. Further, the candidate should have obtained a minimum of 75% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology subjects in 12th class examination, at least 60%marks in each of the Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology subjects and adequate proficiency in English. Only Students who are appearing for 12th class examination in 2015 or who have passed the 12th class examination in 2014 are eligible to appear for BITSAT-2015. Direct Admission to Board Toppers: Students who obtain first rank in any central or state level board exam in India held in the year 2015 will be given direct admission to the programme of their choice, irrespective of their BITSAT-2015 score subject to fulfilling the eligibility criteria

Note: – Candidates satisfying the eligibility conditions as laid down in the Prospectus and who seek admission to all the above mentioned courses have to apply in the prescribed application form issued by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations.

The CEE will conduct separate Entrance Examination for admission to Engineering and Medical Courses. The CEE will not conduct any Entrance Examination for admission to BArch course. However, candidates seeking admission to BArch course should compulsorily appear and qualify the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) conducted by the National Institute of Advanced Studies in Architecture (NIASA).

Eligibility:

Nativity: Applicant should be an Indian citizen. Persons of Indian Origin (PIO)/Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Card Holders will be treated on par with Indian citizens for the limited purpose of admission.

Both Keralites and Non-Keralites are eligible to apply for the Entrance Examination. Applicants of Kerala origin will be categorized as ‘Keralites’. Others will be categorized as ‘Non-Keralites’. Non-Keralites are classified as ‘Non-Keralite Category-I’ and ‘Non-Keralite Category-II’.

Keralites: – A candidate of Kerala origin will be categorized as a Keralite. A candidate will be considered as a ’Keralite’, for the limited purpose of eligibility for admission, if (a) he/she or his/her father/mother was born in Kerala OR (b) he/she has been a resident of Kerala for a period of 5 years within a period of 12 years OR (c) he/she has undergone his/her school studies from Standards VIII to XII in educational institution(s) in Kerala. The candidate should obtain relevant certificates in the application form as prescribed in the Prospectus to avail such benefit.

Candidates who are children of All India Service (AIS) officers allotted to Kerala cadre, claiming Keralite Status, should produce a certificate from the competent authority showing that the parent of the candidate is an AIS officer allotted to Kerala cadre.

Non-Keralite Category-I: – ‘Non-Keralite Category-I’ candidates are those who have undergone the qualifying course in Kerala, and who are the sons/daughters of Employees of the Government of India, or, employees who are serving in connection with the affairs of the Government of Kerala, subject to the condition that, all categories of the employees mentioned above should have served in Kerala for a minimum period of 2 years, or, have served in connection with the affairs of the Government of Kerala for a minimum period of 2 years. Such candidates will be eligible for admission to all the seats, but they will not be considered for admission against reserved seats.

Non-Keralite Category-II: – Candidates who do not belong to the ‘Keralite’ or ‘Non- Keralite Category-I’ will be treated as ‘Non-Keralite Category-II’. They are eligible for admission ONLY to the ‘State Merit’ seats in the Private Self-financing Engineering Colleges in the State and in the Management Quota seats in Self-financing Engineering institutions under Government control. Non-Keralite candidates will not be considered for admission against reserved seats.

Academic Qualification:

Medical Courses: Candidates should have passed the Higher Secondary Examination or examination recognized as equivalent thereto, with 50% marks in Biology/Biotechnology, and 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology put together. Those who wish to take admission to MBBS/BDS courses should secure 50% marks in the Medical Entrance Examination (As per the guidelines issued by Medical Council of India). Candidates should prove their academic eligibility on the date of admission.

Eligibility of BSc Degree holders: Those who apply based on their BSc. Degree, for admission to MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, BSMS Courses, should have obtained their BSc. Degree with one of the subjects, Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, Botany, Biotechnology as Main, and any one or two of these subjects as subsidiaries, with 50% marks for Main and Subsidiaries taken together, provided they have passed the Higher Secondary or equivalent examination, with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as optional subjects.

Agriculture/Veterinary Courses: Candidates should have passed the Higher Secondary Examination or examination recognized as equivalent thereto, with 50% marks in Biology, and 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology put together. Candidates seeking admission to BVSc. & AH course, in addition to the qualification prescribed above, should have passed the qualifying examination with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English put together (as per the regulation of Veterinary Council of India). Candidates should prove their academic eligibility on the date of admission

Note: Only those candidates who have secured a minimum of 10 marks each for Paper I and Paper II in the Medical Entrance Examination will be included in the Medical rank list for admission to Ayurveda / Siddha / Homoeo / Veterinary / Agriculture / Fisheries / Forestry Courses. SC / ST candidates will not have any minimum mark restriction for inclusion in the rank list.

Engineering Courses: The rank list for Engineering Courses will be prepared by giving equal weightage to the marks obtained in the Entrance Examination and the Qualifying Examination. The marks secured for the subjects concerned (Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry/Computer Science/Biotechnology/Biology) in the Second year Higher Secondary or equivalent Examination will be added to the marks secured in the Entrance Examination for preparing the rank list. The marks of the Kerala State Higher Secondary and Vocational Higher Secondary Examination will be taken as it is given in the mark list. The marks of other Boards will be considered after effecting the normalization procedure as explained in clause 9.7.4 (b) of the Prospectus 2012. Only those candidates who have secured a minimum of 10 marks each for Paper I and Paper II will be included in the rank list. SC/ST candidates will not have any minimum mark restriction for inclusion in the rank list. Candidates who have passed the qualifying Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala or examinations recognized as equivalent thereto, with 50% marks in Mathematics separately, and 50% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry/Computer Science/Biotechnology/ Biology put together are eligible for admission. Those candidates who have passed the Qualifying Examination should attach the copy of mark list of Qualifying Examination duly attested by a Gazetted Officer along with the application. Those candidates who have appeared/appearing for the Qualifying Examination also are eligible to take the Entrance Examination. They should submit the copy of the mark sheet of the Qualifying Examination duly attested by a Gazetted Officer of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations.

Candidates having Three Year Diploma in Engineering awarded by the Board of Technical Examinations, Kerala or equivalent, having 50% marks in the final Diploma examination, are also eligible for admission. They will be eligible for admission only to the Special Reservation Quota of 4 seats reserved under DE category. Such candidates should prove their academic eligibility on the date of admission. However, the Diploma holders are not eligible for admission to the Engineering courses offered by Kerala Agricultural University.

Architecture Course: Candidates who have passed 10+2 Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination or examinations recognized as equivalent thereto, with Mathematics as a subject of examination, with 50% marks in aggregate/Candidates who have passed 10+3 Diploma (any stream) recognised by Central/State Governments with 50% aggregate marks / Candidates with International Baccalaureate Diploma, after 10 years of schooling, with not less than 50% marks in aggregate and with Mathematics as compulsory subject of examination are eligible to apply. In addition, candidates will have to score 40% marks (80 marks out of 200) in the NATA(National Aptitude Test in Architecture). Reserved category (SC/ST/SEBC) candidates should also have obtained 40% marks in NATA, as per guidelines of Council of Architecture. (For details, visit www.nata.in).

Candidates seeking admission to B.Arch. course should also submit the Application form to the CEE. There is no State level Entrance Examination for this purpose. However such candidates should write the National Aptitude Test for Architecture and should forward the NATA score and mark list of the qualifying examination to the CEE.

Relaxation of marks in the Qualifying Examination: For all courses, a relaxation of 5% marks in the qualifying examination will be allowed to those candidates who belong to the communities listed under the Socially and Educationally Backward Classes (SEBC) and whose annual family income is up to Rs 4.5 lakhs (Rupees Four Lakhs and Fifty Thousand only). SC/ST candidates need only a pass in the qualifying examination. But candidates belonging to SEBC categories, seeking admission toMBBS/BDS courses, need 45% marks in Biology/Biotechnology and 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology put together, in the qualifying examination and 40% marks in Medical Entrance Examination. Candidates belonging to SC/ST categories need 40% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology put together in the qualifying examination and 40% marks in the Entrance Examination for seeking admission to MBBS/BDS Courses. Candidates with Locomotory Disability between 40% and 70% need only 45% marks for Biology/Biotechnology and 45% marks for Biology/Biotechnology, Physics and Chemistry taken together as academic eligibility for MBBS course. They need only 45% marks in the Entrance Examination to qualify for MBBS course.

Age: The candidate should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December, 2015.

Online submission of application is required to apply for the entrance examination for admission to all the courses (Medical, Engineering and Architecture)

A candidate who does not belong to SC/ST communities will be treated as general candidate for the collection of application fee

The application fee for all candidates will be (general) Rs 800/-; SC/ST Rs 400/-

Candidate can pay application fee in either of the two methods

Security card and prospectus can be obtained from selected post offices in Kerala and outside the State, on payment of the prescribed fee (Rs 800/- or Rs 400/- as the case may be), by cash

Application fee can be paid by way of demand draft drawn on a Nationalised/Scheduled Bank, in favour of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, payable at Thiruvananthapuram

How to Apply:

Option-I: After Purchasing LPUNEST-2015 KIT

Applicant may obtain LPUNEST-2015 Kit from University Campus, Camp Offices, Designated branches of specific Banks/ Post Offices or any other prescribed place by paying cash or providing Demand Draft drawn in favour of “Lovely Professional University” payable at Jalandhar.

Once the applicant has obtained the LPUNEST-2015 kit, form can be submitted by one of the following methods.

Online Application with DD: Apply through University website (No Internet banking facility required).

ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS:

The applicants must fall into one) of the following categories: – (1) Wards of serving Army. Personnel with minimum 10 years continuous service in the Army. (2) Wards of ex Army personnel   granted/ awarded regular pension, liberalized family pension, family pension or r- disability pension at the time of their superannuation, demise, discharge, release medical board/ invalided medical board. : This includes wards of recruits medically boarded out and granted disability pension. Candidates can apply in any one of the following methods:

  • Applications can also be obtained by post from Director-Admissions by sending a request on plain paper giving the candidate’s name with complete mailing address accompanied by demand draft for Rs.150/- drawn in favour of GITAM University payable at Visakhapatnam on any scheduled bank Request for applications by post will be accepted upto 31st March, 2015
  • Applications are available throughout India in Union Bank of India/Indian Bank/Karur Vysya Bank; list of branches is available on the website

The filled – in application along with Demand Draft for Rs.1000/- (Rs.600/- for female candidates), drawn in favor of Gitam University, payable at Visakhapatnam on any scheduled bank, should reach Director-Admissions, Gitam University, Gandhi Nagar Campus, Rushikonda, Visakhapatnam-530045, Andhra Pradesh, INDIA on or before 31st March 2015

The final list of centres will be announced to candidates through the website

The University reserves the right to cancel any test centre and in such a case, candidates allotted to these centres will be accommodated in alternate test centres
